Glasgow Electric Plant Board (GEPB) is looking to hire an Electric Power Distribution Engineer. As part of a team of 46 employees, the Distribution Engineer provides engineering services to support the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Glasgow Electric Plant Board’s substation, distribution, and sub-transmission systems. This position reports to the Superintendent. 

The Glasgow EPB is looking for an individual that wants to be a part of a team and serve their community. Glasgow EPB delivers electricity, cable, and broadband services to over 7,600 individuals, businesses, and industries in the City of Glasgow, Kentucky. The typical work week is 5 days a week, 8 hours a day at our office located at 100 Mallory Drive, Glasgow, Kentucky 42141.

Qualifications for this Distribution Engineer position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSEE)
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Distribution design and construction experience
• Distribution system protection coordination experience
• Experience writing and executing switching orders
• Supervisory experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license
